I was raised in a small town of Wylie, Texas just outside of Dallas. I spent my childhood drawing sport figures, deer, and whatever my imagination came up with. Being raised with a family full of hunters, I also quickly fell in love with the great outdoors. Chasing deer, javelina, cottontails, and many other critters that the West Texas mountains hold, I continued my love for art and graduated with Applied Arts from the Art Institute of Dallas. I combined my love for graphic design and my passion for hunting and Wildleaf Design was born. Richard now lives in Sachse, Texas with his wife and daughter. Richard has hunted throughout the world, including most of North America, the South Pacific, South America, Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
